This Vidyalaya is one of the schools under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body (registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860). The Sangathan was set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, to establish, administer and manage the Kendriya Vidyalayas.
Kendriya Vidyalaya No.I Bolangir is located in the extensive grounds of the Ordnance Factory, Badmal in Bolangir district of Orissa State. This Vidyalaya is about 50 kilometres away from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. II Bolangir and about 20 kilometres from Titlagarh. |
